Here we go again! I love these.
Scarsdale, NY…where apparently there is a contest going on to see who can call the police for the most frivolous reason. Once again, I saw this article online (theloopny.com) and couldn’t help re-posting it. You can’t make this up…and I didn’t. They are 100% true. 100% entertaining. And 100% ridiculous. Enjoy!
“In “Scarsdale Undercover,” we share some of the more…unnecessary police activity that seems to occur in Scarsdale, New York.”
Police were called because…
Suspicious Activity: A woman called police to report a man wearing a blue jacket was walking through her yard. Upon arrival, police found a Scarsdale Water Dept. worker reading her meter. March 5.
Suspicious Activity: A man reported that a white vehicle with Maryland plates is in the driveway of the vacant house next door, moving items in and out. Upon arrival, police found a man and his daughter who advised they had just come from the airport and had been away for a few days, and were identified as owning and living in the house. March 6.
Assistance Rendered: A caller reported a man walking on Sheldrake Road, wrapped in a blanket, carrying a guitar, possibly in need of assistance. Upon arrival police spoke to the man, who stated he had been giving guitar lessons to a family on Sheldrake Road and was waiting for a cab. He was wearing a brown wool coat. March 6.
