Random Friday: Featuring The End Of Twinkies, The President On Staten Island, Relief For Mets Fans and More

President Obama traveled to Staten Island
to see firsthand the devastation
caused by Hurricane Sandy.
Upon arrival, the President was quoted as saying
“Are you kidding me? The toll was how much??”
Who says FEMA doesn’t have a sense of humor?
They’ve declared Citi Field a disaster area
and have promised each and every NY Mets
fan a free session with a therapist.
Speaking of the Mets, this week
knuckleball pitcher R.A. Dickey won
the NL Cy Young Award, giving hope
to anyone who thought they could
make the major leagues after striking
someone out playing whiffle ball.
The New York Times horrible review of
Guy Fieri’s Times Square restaurant
went viral this week.
Also going viral at the restaurant:
Hostess , the makers of Twinkies,
is shutting down for good.
This is a great opportunity for the Republican Party
to start rebuilding their image
by supporting a government bailout of Hostess.
This week thieves stole about 3,600 iPad Minis—
with a retail value around $1.2 million—
from a cargo building at JFK Airport.
This is great news if you were planning
to buy one from that big dude Chuck on the corner.
Due to unforeseen circumstances,
Tim Tebow’s Xmas Party
for his teammates has been cancelled.
