Random Friday: Featuring Shellshocked Mitt, Lincoln vs. 007, Unlikely Animal Friends and More

Two big movies open this weekend:
There’s the one the Republicans made about
Obama’s second term, Skyfall and
the one about America’s 16th white president, Lincoln.
Insiders say Mitt Romney was “shellshocked”
as he came to terms with his loss.
Ironic, considering “shellshocked” is a military term and
he’s never been in the military,
no one in his family has been in the military,
no one he’s ever met has been in the military.
Controversy from an unlikely source,
as gas rationing begins in NYC.
Karl Rove claimed on Fox News that an “8,”
the number his license plate ends with,
is technically both an odd and even number.
McDonald’s sales took its first dip in almost a decade.
The company cites competition, lower demand
and the failure of their McMitt burger,
a bun with nothing inside.
Joe Biden is set to make a cameo
on the NBC comedy Parks and Rec.
Not to be outdone, Paul Ryan is set to make a cameo
on the Fox News comedy The O’Reilly Factor.
I know what I am about to say is unpopular,
but I am so tired of all those “unlikely animal friends” stories.
Just today there was one about a great dane and a deer.
It’s not cute anymore.
And if they continue at this rate, they won’t be unlikely anymore.
Although I would love to see a chimp and a goldfish.
