Paul Revere was an American silversmith, professional bowler and patriot in the American Revolution. Revere was born in 1735 in the Bronx. Paul Revere is best known for his “Midnight Ride.” Revere felt it was his duty to let the British know that “the British were coming,” so he hatched a plan. Along with his horse, he boarded a plane headed to London. (He flew Coach. He was an “everyman.”) As soon as they landed, Paul Revere road throughout London yelling “The British Are Coming! The British Are Coming!” When he was finally done, he decided to do some sightseeing, so he went to see Buckingham Palace and that oversized clock. Paul Revere returned home a hero, although for some reason they never gave him his own holiday. Paul Revere died in 1818, but the love of his country lives on in all Republicans.
