Random Friday: Featuring Obama’s Aliens, The Ann Curry Decision, Hillary’s Travel Record and More
|June 29, 2012||Posted by billyrob under pop culture||
It was a big week for The Supreme Court.
There was that health care thing and
they upheld NBC’s decision to fire Ann Curry.
A new poll reveals Americans want Obama as President if aliens invade.
No one has asked the Aliens who they’d prefer if Americans invade them,
but I’d bet it would be XYLO 8000 From Planet Triston.
Or Mitt Romney.
Hillary Clinton is now the best-traveled secretary of state in American history,
having beaten the record of 96 countries set by Madeleine Albright.
And letting her husband have “his space.”
The competitive Madoff brothers are at it again,
with Peter once again getting the short end of the stick.
He was sentenced to a mere 10 years in jail,
while his brother Bernie, never to be outdone,
got 150 years.
I am writing this at 4am.
Still watching the NBA Draft,
vowing to stay up until a white guy gets picked.
Headline of the Week:
Japanese Robot Never Loses Rock-Paper-Scissors
Street artist Shepard Fairey has revamped the Rolling Stones’ iconic tongue-and-lips logo in honor of the band’s 50th anniversary.
It’s not that different from the original, except for the fact that those are dentures.
